Bearden High School Class of 1978
Carl Wittenberg and Family

Below are pictures of Carl and his wife Angela and their children -- David, Isaiah, Jacob and Isaac. After graduation Carl attended UT and then the Yale School of Drama. In 1985 he married Angela Perez-Cisneros (a Farragut girl that he met at Swensen's) and they moved to Fort Worth, Texas where Carl had taken a job as General Manager of Shakespeare in the Park -- a free, outdoor Shakespeare Festival. After that he moved to the Dallas Theater Center and was there for about seven years during which time he and Angela had two sons.

They decided they wanted to come back to Tennessee and Carl spent a few months playing entrepreneur with Joe Prochaska in Nashville. He then took a job as a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association after his then two-year old son was diagnosed with diabetes. Carl was laid off in a national restructuring and spent five years as the Marketing and Development Director for the Rape & Sexual Abuse Center. About three years ago Carl moved over to Vanderbilt to raise money for one of the world's leading diabetes research and clinical programs.

Carl and Angela have had two more sons since moving to Nashville and they bought a little place with some land in the country outside of Nashville. They have four boys, three acres, two dogs and a cat. Carl says "Life is pretty good."
